A Cluckin' good time!
The sun is out and field work is just around the corner! The chickens are extatic, as they can finally walk around outside again without freezing their little feet off!
Have you met the hens? They're a nice bunch, with very tasty eggs- which you can buy at the Wednesday Red Barn Market. We could use a few artisitc helpers to decorate the new 'Hen House" this spring!
Spring Comes to the Greenhouse (finally!)
The heavy blanket of snow and huge drifts have posed quite the challenge in terms of getting the greenhouse started. Mark and Lorenz have persevered as usual, and were able to clear the roof and doors! Last Wednesday during the weekly farm market, the first seeding began! It won't be long now before the entire greenhouse is full of trays and emerging plants full of new energy!
